I find this trend absolutely frightening for women.....

Me too and I am not a woman. Sad times we are headed down in the next few years. More military actions, more eroding away of freedoms and surely a big hit to the economy. Record high gas prices, more income disparity. I hope Jeb (Jeb lol) gets elected, I really really do because I need a good laugh.

Disgusting on so many levels... Funny how they want the government out of our lives, until it involves the use and care of our vaginas. They act like they have a right to them, for some odd reason, as they chase their Viagra with a nice Scotch.

Lawyers making laws is like doctors making Diseases?
New Law Jails Pregnant Women For Drug Use
Published on May 1, 2014
"Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam (R) signed a bill into law on Tuesday that is the first law in the country to authorize the arrest and incarceration of women who use drugs while pregnant. Reproductive and civil rights advocates had strongly urged Haslam to veto the legislation."

No Susie, unfortunately it is not a joke. Duke University published a study on reproductive rights for women and the impact of laws that take the decision away from women. There is a link to the actual published work of the peer reviewed journal study in the times article. It is more frightening than the times article.....

Why is there no revolt ??? This is middle-age at best...

A few reasons Susie, women are our own worst enemy. When those few women internalize the bias that is shown toward women, the objectifying, the discrimination, and microaggressions, they align with those who think less of women against their own gender and are 100 times worse. If you read the Nomas article that I provided the link for, it explains the rest of the problem in an interesting way.
