I came up with a new schutzhund/IPO related game that is based on Fantasy Football. The USCA Nationals will be the first trial for this game.
Rules: You pick your team. One handler/dog team for each phase. You cannot pick the same team for multiple phases. Highest score wins. In the case of a tie, we will use schutzhund trial rules (highest Protection, then High OB, then High Tracking) to determine a winner. If there is still a tie, the winner is the earliest entrant.
Winner gets a $25 Elite K9 Gift Certificate.

Good Luck!

Some people have WAAAAY too much time on their hands...
Get out there and train your dogs, instead!

Thanks for the advice Sunsilver. As I can tell from your scant 7,196 posts, you obviously have very little time to slip away from your training. I could see how my little attempt to have some fun and possibly attract people to the sport is deemed silly. Below, if you can sacrifice the training time, are videos of a couple of my dogs. The malinois (raised from a puppy) is from the 2012 AWDF trial. The German Shepherd (also raised from a puppy) is my current dog that I hope to begin showing nationally next year. I'm sure you could show us some of your video that would blow us away.
To anybody interested, I have had a bunch of interest and the entries are piling in. Registration is free!

I think this actually a pretty cool Idea. Keeps people interested in what's going on. I know I love the sport. I love training dogs period. Ring, IPO, hanging out in the back 40 finding the kids, it's all fun. I do know I get caught up in all my own stuff that I tend to not pay much attention to those competing in areas other than myself if I am not competing as well.
I'll be checking scores all weekend to see how my "team" is doing :) Thanks for putting in the leg work!

If I wasn't busy I would join in, but we are moving, and I still have school to go through.

You're welcome Bebo.
No problem Celtic, I hope to make this a regular thing for most the big national/international trials. Maybe next time.
