I want to shout at the moon Yay!!!
Cisco passed his RH1 today under, Mike Hamilton, with flying colors.
Yes indeed, my handsome guy, who has endured much in his young life continues to persevere.
We scored a 188 out of 200 = SG rating. So yes we have some improvement to work through......mostly the heeling exercises and my handling..... but overall a great experience.
Next year we are going for his RH2 and conformation title.

I'm an AKC show person, so don't know what an RH1 is, but it sounds pretty impressive, so congratulations!

Hi Blitzen,
Thank You.
That's OK...most people who do IPO stuff don't know what it is either.
The RH titles 1-3 are sport titles for search and rescue dogs. They are designed to test dogs for abilities that are necessary for all SAR dogs to poses.
Each title has three sections of work to be evaluated.....a search portion....and OB portion and an agility portion.
The level (1-3) determines the difficulty and complexity of the title. It's open to all breeds.

@Blitzen,
I thought I had written a novel on this topic. I recall you posting a comment or too as well on at least one of the threads, could be my mistake however.
Here is one of the older discussions (some of the others have disapeared):
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/forum.read?mnr=747152-ipor-title
Note the point of contention was whether the FH3 counted as a breed survey level title, along with the HGH and IPO/Schh titles. Which it is, according to the current German Language SV rules, but are omited from those published by USCA.

WHOOOO-HOOOOOOOOO! After all you've been through together, navigating weird physical challenges that scared the wits out of you and were painful for Cisco, this title is [which is already a noteworthy accomplishment under normal circumstances] a PHENOMENAL achievement for the two of you!
Congratulations on both the title, and for never surrendering to the obstacles that arose along the road to this reward. What a good boy, Cisco!

Thank You Jyl and Nans for your Congrats :)
Hexe,
Thank you for your kind words and HUGE congrats .
You are one of the few who knows how much this title truly means to me and Cisco.
I know my big guy is special and he continues to prove it with his resilience and strength of heart.
Although, I have to confess......I almost couldn't complete the exercise........I had to pick him up and carry his 90lb (lean) self for 10 meters, then pass him off to my helper(hubby), who carried him another 10 meters, before placing him on the ground. The judge couldn't believe it......lol. That was the hardest part of the test for Cisco and me.

Very well done, all of you - to you and your husband, especially to Cisco (and of course
to Ava for getting her AD at the same event.) Any photos ?
