I would like you to give your comments on this xray if you don't mind.
Buyer is having a rotten day today- got 2 GSDs xrayed and was told one had bad elbows (dog went immediately into surgery) and the other had "marginal," "borderline" dysplastic hips. I do not yet have the other xrays but was emailed these.
Please do not be shy. Much appreciated....

I am thinking they look pretty good, this is a female just over 2; yes, I like them, But you know how that goes, best of luck Nan
Can I presume she was sedated? OK. Yep; I would be happy with these. Nan

These hips look very good to me.

Best guess OFA excellent, maybe good depending on how much sleep the readers had the night before they rated the dog .

Totally knocked out, not just sedated, 30 days past heat cycle (which my super xray doc says is way worse than in heat, even, as 30 days post is when the greatest laxity occurs).
Thanks you guys...keep 'em coming.

There is NOTHING wrong with those hips!! And that makes me wonder about the elbows, too, if the vet was that bad at reading x-rays!
Lining his/her pockets, maybe??
Okay, maybe I'm making a wrong assumption here. I am assuming THIS was the dog that was supposedly 'borderline dysplastic'!

Sunsilver he took TWELVE views of her elbows!!! I couldn't believe the price then I got the email and I just kept scrolling, and scrolling, and scrolling. WTH???

Yes, SS. She has by vet's evaluation "marginal hips," "borderline dysplastic."
I am really praying that his poor other dog needed that elbow surgery!!! Ugh...nauseous.

What? Borderline HD? This dog? I hope the owner sends them to OFA. There is no way this dog won't pass. It's not even close.

What was the supposed problem with the elbows? I really don't see anything wrong with them, either, but I'm not used to interpreting elbow x-rays.
I googled U.A.P. and judging by the x-rays I saw of that condition, that's NOT the problem. There's a line at the end of the ulna, which is perfectly normal, as it marks where the growth plate of the bone has fused.
