Hi has any one else had problems with this breeder www.vom-altenkanal.be/
I recently bought a young dog off them which turns out to have small intestinal disease. When I tried to contact them they had blocked me

Before this gets out of hand let's start with you filling in some information as to why you want to call this kennel a bad breeder.

What age was your dog when you got it

When did your dog show symptoms

What did the Vet say your dog had

Was your dog shipped or did you pick it up if shipped what did the health Cert say

How old is your dog now how long have you had him

What proof do you have that this is a bad breeder. Many dogs/puppies develople problems and it is not because of a bad breeder.

I am removeing the other Topic you started, you only need one please do not start another one.

IMO

When he tried contacting the breeder and they blocked him it pretty much qualified them as bad.

Exactly bz, I don't care if the buyer turns into a royal pain in the ass.

That's part of the bad, that comes along with the good. Not every buyer is a dream come true. Once that $$$ hits your palm, you really are obligated.( to both dog and new owner)

   Breeding really ain't a 9-5 type thing

HOW did you try to contact them? What about an old fashioned phone call?

by joanro on 06 August 2014 - 17:08

Bz, that all depends...there's always two sides to a story.

Joanro,

True, but blocking someone is pretty extreme.

I was actually just recently forced to block someone on Facebook. I continue to try and reach out to them about their puppy (they are claiming behavior problems due to genetics), but they ignore my calls and email and simply want to make false accusations on Facebook about how I won't do anything for them. You really can't win with some people. All I asked was that they speak to me directly and we will come up with a solution.

Khlewis, ^^^^^that's what I'm talking about. When it happens, a person has no recourse but to block electronically and try to get them to talk in person. When they won't talk in person, then it becomes obvious one is dealing with a nut case. Bz, blocking is not extreme in that case.

Agreed in your scenario, however he says that when he tried to contact them, he was blocked.

He says that he was trying to contact them and was blocked.  That doesn't sound right to me.
