We had a nice summer storm yesterday. The dogs loved it......I loved it.

Do your dogs like to play in the rain? Mine Do Clown

by beetree on 28 July 2014 - 13:07

Teeth SmileI love how the thunder answered Cisco when he started to bark!

My now gone, Silas, also a black GSD, used to chase after and bark at thunder. It was the wildest thing to see. Probably someone will say it was a nerve issue. Still, I think it is better than cowering and shaking in the bathtub.

Mojo does not care for thunderstorms as he gets older. He doesn't shake or pant, but instead seeks our company and prefers to be indoors.

Your dogs going at play in "rounds" reminds me of my two boys.

Great video!

Agree about Cisco commanding the response of the thunder.

For a second he had a look on his face like, did I just make it do that?

Ava looks and acts exactly like her Mother! Teeth Smile

LOVE IT.   What a great, happy video.

As much as Rose loves to play in the water, she is not to keen on rain.  She prefers just to watch it.

Cireberus and Max will play in the rain, although I have not seen them play in a downspout.

Baron and Bane do not like the rain and thunder.  Both hid and seek shelter (and grump at me if I did not let them in before the 1st rain drop)

Thanks guys.

We haven't had rain like that in a very long time and I think the dogs were as happy about it as I was.

I had never seen Cisco play in the down spout either, so it was entertaining to watch him having so much fun all by himself Tongue Smile.

Cisco and Ava both love water.....I can't hardly water my flowers with the hose without them chasing, biting and barking at the spray.

Thunder and lightning has never bothered either dog and I usually bring them in if it looks like it's going to rain, otherwise they are playing in it.

Nothing beats the smell of a wet dog, and nothing lingers longer than that either....LOL
