I have taken advice of several breeders here on forum - Page 1

Hi i have taken the advice of several breeders here who have taken the time out to explain to me that there are bad people where ever you buy and there are good people as well selling on here. I Had a lady because i have been looking so long making comments i must be looking to buy to resell dogs..Not true i am not in the dog selling business. I have been accussed of seeking what does not exist i guess this is true but i know there are quality red and black showline males that im looking for just for family member and family protection out there for sale papers optional to me. Sometimes you get what you pay for sometimes you do not. I have not yet found the German Shepherd to replace my Qliff that passed away as of yet. Am i looking for a myth? maybe one thing is for sure im not in a hurry im not trying to waste your time or play games but the GSD i pick is going to be my family member for life. I have never been rude to anyone on here and i treat others with the same respect and kandor i expect to be treated with. I apologize if i offended anyone when i was upset that i felt i got taken advantage of it was my fault i trusted someone 4 hours away by plane. I am a Disabled Vet  thats why i can not choose a puppy it would be impossible on me physically. Thats why i am looking for a young adult. But i also want a GSD like Qliff that will react if someone breaks into my home he was not a fear biter but a bada&& who would of had 2 back pockets in his mouth if he had to deal with an intruder. He feared no one After Qliff died it hurt it devistated my wife and i and it took time to heal thats why we were in no hurry to buy the next GSD we saw..So if you see my add know im not looking to buy and sell German Shepherds or breed and i am not looking for a 5,000 GSD for 100.00 .I do not own a mystery meat restaurant..I am just looking to replace my best friend that im still hurt about with the same looks and temperment thats all. Thanks     JIM_w333@hotmail.com.  for photos of red and black showline male and prices please send here...And if anyone here is worried i am buying or reselling dogs "Carla"  i have not owned a German Shepherd since our Qliff  Past away..years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..

get off of the internet.  go visit 7 breeders and 3 clubs, and then 14 trials in your area.

Yes, Get off the internet and go visit breeders. Tell them the same thing you wrote here and see what they say. Then look at their dogs and see if their adults are the type of dog you are looking for. Chances are very good that if you like the parents, You'll find something you like in their offspring.

Thank you for your service brother.  I can tell that you are gentle soul. By listening to what you looking for I would suggest that you look for a a working line rather then show line. I do give  dogs to disbled vets from time to time for free or for very little money. I may have dog for you.  PM me.

Your welcome Prager i understand you sign on the dotted line you are Gov. property but i have been seeing alot of the younger generation talking about how Veterans are mindless drones that are there just to make cheney and all the rest money...I joined when i was 17 yrs old and wanted out of a home filled with yelling fighting etc... I did sign on the line i did get hurt and now i live with that but do people appreciate the Vets or active military that are guarding the blanket that we sleep beneath every night or do they take advantage of that fact? If no one signed on the dotted line who would guard our great nation? we surely would not be on the website looking for a family member or new best 4 legged friend. I see i have advice to get off the internet and go to some shows some trials some breeders the truth of the matter is here in OHIO it is very hard to find a nice red and black showline male if thats your cup of tea and with my injuries i can not take care of a puppy. There is nothing like a showline male that is my cup o tea....They may not be as active or as hard as a working line sable DDR or black n tan but i love red and black showlines. Im not looking to show or care about papers i am looking for a friend or maybe even deeper a therapy GSD to pass the time away with. I THANK all my brothers and sisters at arms out there that have taken over the watch and i appreciate the Vets that were there before me and those after me. I believe that firemen, police, military, teachers are under paid and under appreciated. So if you have a Nice red and black showline male send me a couple photos and a resonable price and if you want proof of my being a Disabled Veteran i will send that to those who are serious.Thanks JIm_w333@hotmail.com

gsdstudent and Dog1: Your suggestions are thoughtless. Did you fail to see the part where the OP mentioned he was DISABLED and travel is physically difficult?? Neither of you seemed to know how difficult it is to travel with any kind of disability...  And no, it is not necessary for him to explain what and why travel is difficult, all our disabled veterans would love to have the mobility back they lost in service to our country.
