Sunsilver

The owner says these two littermates are weimaraner/Airedale crosses.

HMMmmm.....

Anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? The male is nearly 30 inches tall!

Looks like Giant Schnauzer / Irish Wolfhound...

Don't know about schnauzer, but their build and shaggy faces screams 'wolfhound' to me. Wonder if he actually saw the mother, or whether he got them from a rescue/pound?

Oh, and the have NO manners whatsoever. I have already had to try to convince them that jumping up on me is NOT allowed!  Sad Smile

Wolfhound was my first guess before reading down, even at that they don't look purebred either.

Are you boarding these dogs?

Sunsilver

[sigh] Yes. They are here until the middle of June.

Glad they are NOT purebred. That would be even MORE dog to deal with!

I am also starting to suspect they might have fleas...  but doing an exam on them ain't going to be fun!  Confused Smile

Is jumping on you the worst of it or is there more?

Yeah I keep missing the edits....

Non-stop barking, spilling their water bowls, clawing the front of the cage, dragging me behind them on the way from the front entrance to the kennel...

I don't use leashes to turn dogs in and out. I just open the appropriate gates and 'herd' them, which increases the chances of being jumped on and scratched.

About the only good things I can say is they haven't soiled their cage yet, or chewed any bedding or woodwork!

The kennels are tile, but the door jambs and sliding doors are wood.
