I'm looking into German shepherd males that are known to be producing progeny that are correct size in the U.K. Size is my my main concern at this time. Any help, advice and guidance would be appreciated

Dido, first it would help if you could qualify more exactly what you are
looking for, as well as a producer of correct size. Do you want
to look at Working Lines dogs, or Showdogs ? Are you happier
with International (Germanic) 'type' GSDs for structure, or with
the 'Alsatian' kind ? All this will help UK members to help you.
Do you accept long coats, or would you prefer to use a stud dog
from a family where there are only standard coats ? If we can
narrow it down like this, it will be so much easier to recommend
kennels where you can find what you are looking for, in terms of
your main concern (size), without spending time suggesting lines
that you then don't like anyway !
Is this really your first post after 'lurking' as a member for nearly two
years ??? If so, welcome !

Not lurking hundmutter I just don't come on here unless I'm looking up a pedigree that I'm interested in. I'm asking for a genuine reason, I've bred a bitch measuring 66cms in height so far the show judges have found this to be her only fault I admit I've got a donkey. I'm looking for males that are known to produce correct size in their progeny and I'm looking into Germanic show lines, coat length is not a problem I need a broader view of what is out there and available and that has been seen to produce correct size in their progeny, from there I can narrow down what I like and don't like pedigree wise and also I can work out what would suit my girl by combining the two. Does that make more sense?

Ok so we are basically talking Germanic showlines, longcoats not
a problem, and hopefully a good match with a very large female.
'Feelers' going out as we speak... I take it I don't have to point out
to you that with such a tall bitch, even a good dog who 'always' throws
under 65 cm will not guarantee to produce standard sized offspring ?
Good luck; I'll get back to you if I can suss out any suitable possible
males from Survey results and hearsay.
Meanwhile you might get posts or PMs from UK breeders offering studs.

hiya Dido,one show kennel (german lines)comes immediately to mind.I have rung this kennel n am awaiting a call back.Most of this kennels stock is correct size 4 both females/males.Carole S..
