Megy is very nice, very serious looking! Dolce is beautiful....! I couldn't think of a nicer thing to hoard than Capris kids! Hope you are doing well!

I thought EXACTLY the same as Hexe when I saw her.  Congrats Jenni, she is stunning, look forward to hearing and seeing her and where you go with her in the future.

is it just me or does Dolce look "light" maybe "dainty" is the word? I am so used to seeing grounded, solid, big bone dogs from you Jen that Dolce even though is very beautiful just seems very light weight, i am sure it has a lot to do with age and maturity....

LF, she's BALD- her entire undercoat was stripped out by hand before she came to my house. She has longer hair so with no undercoat, I think it makes her look odd, sleeker, because her hair lies flatter to her. She is the least like her mother of probably any pup I've ever had, as far as head and jaw, etc. Even overall build. She is taller and longer and more square; she doesn't have the angulation.  Not that it's a bad thing- but that might be what you're seeing. I kind of like that she's not another clone. I'm wondering if she'll produce a little differently, being more of an even mix.

She has ALWAYS favored her dad's side (not necessarily him, but that side) more than her mom's, while Dylan's face is Capri with no eyebrows. I think she is much more typical W.Ger working line facial structure, though overall she does have her dad's shape- just not as massive. In person she doesn't strike you as light, but what I don't like about her are her more feminine jaw structure and smaller teeth. I prefer her mother's heavy, strong jaw and larger teeth, stronger head, etc. Her mother is a beast and a half, LOL. Dolce is also black and they are not great pics- black dogs, unless MASSIVE (ie, Caleb massive) do not look like much in pics, often. If someone hadn't specifically requested it, I'd not have posted her out of coat. ;)  So, to summarize, yes, you're right, but not to the degree that it appears. She is different, but by no means light. I'd say if she were surveyed they'd say "upper middle-sized, medium strong" as opposed to Capri's- "large, powerful, and substantial" LOL.

Kitkat, that announcement was premature. I didn't post that. That was done before they were even bred. I still don't know if she's pregnant or not. There were some complications with logistics. I will definitely announce, if there is anything to announce, when the time is appropriate.

Sorry about that. Didn 't think I was announcing... I am a bit of a pedigree nut. I am always reading posts, I just look up specific dogs, lines, as they are talked about.

Thats the only way to try to stay  in the know, about what is out there, and what they produce.

Again, sorry, I did not know...next time I will ask in PM

Jen, gotcha...you definitely will not confuse her as being a male, she is all girl...:)

wish you all the best with her, she is gorgeous w/ or w/o coat...LOL.
