Jyl, I'm so, so sorry. A difficult decision, I know, especially with one so young. Nature deals a cruel hand at times. He was a beautiful boy.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear about Ice and you have my deepest sympathy. Thank you for posting the photos of him even though it must have been very difficult for you. I hope you smile and take comfort in his photos and memories that you have of him over the past 2 years.

So sorry for you, but I´m pretty sure he enjoyed every second of his life - it´s about quality, not quantity.

So sorry Jyl, Ice was gorgeous. It is hard to lose them at all, but more so when you looked forward to having much longer with them.

Thank you every one for the condolences.. It was such a hard decision to make.... but I know in my heart it was the right one. I still miss Ice dearly. I keep asking myself everyday "why" as I had such high hopes for him. It is just so hard to swallow that one dog had as many health issues as he did.... I am sure that no one could even dream that in their wildest dreams. But I know in my heart that dogs come into our life for a reason... Ice had his and he left that permanant foot print on my heart for sure.
