Ive never liked the idea of a breeder trying to pick a pup for me,I value the breeders input and thoughts, but the person picking the pup should know more what they are after than the breeder esp. if the buyer knows how to read temperaments very well, this breeding looks good to me,I,m a big Fado fan and a line breeding 5-5 is in my book is a good thing, wish I knew the females better in the ped,but I like Pike,Veit,Aly on your male side in what they produced and going way back I love what came out of the Stoppenbergerland female.

Just a quick correction so you're contacting the right person for information: MelloDee Middleton is vom Germelhaus.
Richard & Melody Greba are vom Reichtal.
Congratulations on the hard work you've done with your dog and best wishes for much success in the future.

Awesomeness !... I understand now.

Yep, Bundishep, the male in the link is mine, I'd like one of his sons. Having worked and trialed with that bitch, I "think" they would make a good paring, but have very limited knowledge of breeding.
I appreciate everyon's input.

With you knowing that female very well I would go on that as much as the ped in this case, both appear in your favor best I can tell and I suspect your chances of getting nice workers are good.

That female is stunning! What a lovely, feminine bitch!
The pedigree certainly looks strong, and my suggestion would be to trust your assessment of her character. Statistically (geneticallly speaking) the sire and dam have the biggest influence on the mating. However, since the dam raises the pups, her influence is a little stronger. It's been proven a timid mother can teach puppies to be timid, too.

Itis- very nice dogs, and you can believe you do know more than many here already! Congrats on a job very well done with your boy.
The pedigrees are very nice, but you are already one up in having the good fortune to actually 'know' both dogs involved.
I am assuming, as the stud owner you will be given pick of the litter, BONUS...as long as you allow the pick , 'choice' to be yours.
I also would not to forced to make that choice prior to the pups being 8 weeks old. Spend as mu h time as you can, if possible with them before making your decision.
I see the female has already produced one litter. How did that litter make out, as far as what your goals are?
I think you can easily get exactly what you are after with this breeding. Best wishes on your goals...

My dad fell into some health issues and I've been absent, but thanks for the great feedback, I really appreciate the help. It sucks being stoopid, and it is great to have folks like you out there to assist!
kitkat, we are geographically separated, the bitch is in TX and my mutt is in MO. so I'm unfamiliar with the results of the last litter but that is something I will look into, thanks for the advice. Given the distance between us, I will not get to spend much time with the pups, but I really like and trust the bitch's owner/handler.
Sunsilver, that is why I'm glad you folks are here, I was unaware the mother could teach timidness to the pups.
Being inexperienced is hard, but having so many people willing to take time to post their advice really helps, thank you!
ETA - the male is a real chick magnet

So this is what Dieter does when he is not biting me huh? Cheater, but I guess I'm not as cute.
As far as the Trixi's first litter, I think two of the pups were kept by the breeder and both are close to going for their IPO1.
Hope to see you out on the field soon, dude.
