I use only Pro Plan dog food. I have found it to be very good. All my dogs have very nice coats, not over weight or under weight.

The Pro Plan is an excelent food, the coat becames wonderfull and I had seen no overwheigth or underwheigth, so I agree with Ladywolf in this point, yet it is an expensive brand and it should offer a little more for the price it costs, it is intended to be complete, so it was supose to have condroitin and Glicasamin in its formula for large breeds!

I use Pro Plan also and find it to be very good. Also Purina offers a breeders program which is excellent and gives you nice rewards for using their products

a k-9 officer friend of mine uses it... tried to talk me into it, have not yet tried it, but after reading others are using with such great results might have to look into this further. :-)

Echo, are you kidding?

Just keep in mind, when ANY food says that it has G&C in it, it'll be in levels that are really so low as to not make much of an impact. The best bet is to use a supplement like Synovi G3-that way they get the full benefit of the good stuff

Tnx for the feedbacks guys. A top breeder in my country also recommended this dog food to me. I'll try this product tommorow.

Egsd ??? What am I kidding about... I have an excellent feeding program in place and have heard of this pro plan, But had not really even looked into it yet, So NO I'm not kidding, I will be looking and see if I need to do some adjustments, Not that I'm not happy with what I am doing now I am very happy with my feed program, But hey if I can improve it I will, What's wrong with continued education ???? Continued Research ???? What is wrong with seeking knowledge ??? Egsd, Please don't pick at me again, I thought we had come to a mutual understanding that YES I am very much a learner, and don't mind others offering up knowledge to those who are willing to learn. Why do I freak you out so much ?? I must say I respect most of what you say on this board and have picked things up here and there that have been informational for me, That YOU posted. I have nothing but respect for every person on this board, for one it takes alot of guts to ask a question around here , And two takes even more to make HONEST comments cause you typically set yourself up for lamb basting by others. You have my respect, can we please keep it that way ? please.

Is that the Pro-Plan Select or just the Pro-Plan? My friend is feeding his puppies with just the Pro-Plan large breed puppy food and it works good on all of his puppies. It has chicken bi-product and whole corn grain but it does not give his puppies digestive problems. I guess it's a very good dog food as I can see it on all of his puppies are all healthy and their coats are shiny too.
