please if you care about this poor dogs fate acquaint yourself with the latest news, Saxon will be assessed tomorrow, the timing of this leaves no time for his campaigners to do anything in the media or in law to save him.
The police statement is worded in such a weasely way as to exepmt them from blame when they kill him.
THIS IS THE DARKEST HOUR!
WE NEED TO MOBILISE ALL OUR RESOURCES AND FIGHT.
IF YOU HAVE A CONTACT WHO IS IN ANYWAY WELL KNOWN TRY TO GET THEM TO HELP, CONTACT THE PRESS, ANY WELFARE OR LEGAL PEOPLE YOU KNOW.
Please don't just sit there do something.
Any help you can give is vitally important.

Sorry Carol, I can see you're at wits end. I was thinking---Has anyone been wondering why this lunacy hasn't been stopped by someone higher? I have---also, have a possible answer---therefore:
To anyone reading this thread who has access to the senior officers deciding Saxon's fate, please ask the omniscient ones the following questions (giving them something to worry about for a change):
Did you ever think that maybe you're being allowed or even encouraged to hang yourselves with this moronic decision to kill the dog?
Do you really think you won't have plenty of damage control to conduct, even if you release Saxon to the Townleys?
If you kill him, you do realize that no amount of damage control will suffice? You are doomed.
Personally Gwent, if I were you, I'd let the dog go home. You have a perfect out---Just say the dog has, again, been evaluated by experts and will be safe in the capable hands of Mr. Townley.

Why doesn't someone observe him with his family? See how they interact...?
Maybe they could see that the owner can handle him and that his family trusts Saxon..

Brandoggy, the answer to your question is;- "Because Morons are not nice, kind, reasonable people!!"
I feared our fight for Saxon's life was alway's destined to be in vain but agree we still had to fight the good fight whatever the outcome. Always remember the saying, "Evil will flourish while good men do nothing".
I applaud the tremendous amount of time and effort put in by Carol Woollams (Radical) and all others involved in this fight for Saxon. Do hope and pray my fears are not confirmed.
