Thanks for the update, Carol. It seems this has been going on forever.

I'll second that one, Blitzin. You know, I had to go to some stupid, outdoor, bbq-pool party last week in 95 degree, extremely humid weather. Ridiculous. Many of my neighbors also attended, and the hostess knowing of Saxon's plight previously from me, brought up the subject. I started talking and everyone was listening. It was somewhat surprising because there were some confirmed dog-NON-lovers present. EVERYONE was disgusted with Gwent. Now, I really couldn't ascertain if it was the heat escalating their anger or Saxon's plight; but, I will say this---Everytime I've run into one of the guests this past week, he or she asks about Saxon. Some have even started to frequent this website for updates. A lot of people care about this dog. I have to wonder if Gwent realizes just how many. Oh, and if anyone feels I'm being rude concerning my remark about the party being stupid--cool your jets. The hostess is a very good friend and knows, only too well, my feelings about summer temperatures.
