I rec'd an email from a K-9 officer who also dealt with the lady I bought my female from.(I have heard from others as well who also dealt with the same lady) This person had actually been to the lady's place and it was described as a "crap hole", with multiple kennels (approx. 30) and that it was filthy. Along with the other feedback I rec'd it appears to be quite common that dogs from this lady have problems not only with health but also with personality and training. She tells everyone a similar story. She gets dogs that cost a lot, lets them go down hill, falsely represents herself and the dogs, and then lets the dogs go when she is done using them. I would advise any one NOT TO DEAL WITH KALLIE PORTER AND VON TREUEN SHEPHERDS!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!
Again, I thank all who gave valuable feedback and offered their help. Have a nice day.

christina,
Oh my gosh, that is so sad, If an officer of the law was there and the conditions of these kennel's were deplorable I certainly hope that he reported these conditions to local authorities !!
Good for you doing your homework, I applaud you for that, And will add this, Not all breeders are like this, I am quite certain you have an awful taste in your mouth regarding breeders, But know that there are those of us who truly are here for the dogs. Many of the people I speak of visit this site I have seen it in the posts they make, Alot of good people here.

I tried to go to their website and it does not appear to be working. Many hits to the website on google. NOne of those links work either. HHMM

Christina,
You need to turn these people in to AKC. The AKC rep will go out on a complaint. When the AKC inspector comes out to the kennel, they inspect the kennels, write down what the dogs are on like concrete or gravel. They make sure of adequate shelter for the dogs and make sure there is appropriate food/water supply. They make sure that everyone is microchipped or tatooed. Also, they inspect your AKC records and make sure that they are all up to date. I was inspected last month. He went over every single adult dog that I had sold, and also will ask to see litter papers from a certain litter. You have to find that paper and all the information needs to match up with what is in the AKC computer. If dogs are in bad shape or the kennels are horrific, and if records are bad, they can pull your AKC privilages. Also, I would recommend contacting the USDA about this place. They are in PA right? I don't know the USDA laws there, but there are ways of getting someone inspected. Another idea is also to contact local humane control in that area. I would contact all 3 if I was you.

Our website has been down until I have completed my move down south. You can see my dogs for sale at www.mycountrynaturals.com/gsdpup.html I have nothing to hide. Please have sources ready because you are in for a BIG lawsuit. You have never been to my home and/or seen the condition of my dogs here.I have 15 dogs currently in PSD or PSD training positions. I do not not sell to customers unless I have low drive dogs.I specifically sell to PSD & SAR. I'll be ready for court..I hope you are.
And for those making comments..if a customer did this to you without ever being at your place you would take the same action.Anyone is welcome here as my dogs are top condition!
The only time we hear from this girl is when someone tells me she has commented on this forum.
She has crossed a professional line..and WILL be sued.

I see from the first thread that she has not disclosed her name but found it necessary to disclose yours. There are 2 sides to a story but it sounds to me by inviting a K-9 officer to the kennel she had nothing to hide. I feel bad for your experience but you should have gone there yourself and saw the dog and got your referrence ahead of the purchase. Sounds like this was your mistake, I don't know a whole lot but I do know when "I" make a mistake "I" own up to it and don't try to blame others..

Thank you Echomeadows for the kind response. I know there are very good people out there, and yes I did make mistakes, I never said I didnt. I have learned from this experience and will in turn help any one else if I can. Thanks again.

Pia,
Thank you so much for the information, I will do exactly that. What an excellent suggestion. You are very kind to be so helpful and I do appreciate it very much. I am obligated for the sake of the animals to do just as you have suggested. Again, thank you very much. :)
