I dont know about pugs, but everybody and their brother-in -law breeds Labs in the US. You have to really be careful and look at the lines. Alot of in breeding.

I've seen two of those Labra-doodles (sp) and they are the cutest darn things I've ever seen! Like big teddy bears!

I don't know about pugs but I do know some very good Labrador breeders. Are you looking for stocky show type dogs or the taller, leaner working type labrador? If you are looking for a stocky type dog, Borador Labradors owned by Sally Bell is a very good kennel to get a lab pup from, or if you are looking for a lab breeder closer to you (Borador is located in central Ohio, USA) You can call Sally and she'll recommend some, The only breeder I know of thats "across the pond" is Sandyland's Labradors, located somewhere in the UK, I'm sure either Sally or Sandyland can recommend other breeders that are in Europe if that is where you live. Sally's number is 614-846-7526, she currently has no website. Sandyland has a website, just Google their name

like urmangsd suggested...decide if you want a field lab or a bench lab as they are entirely different (much like our working line and show lines) take care and good luck finding a great pup!
