Size in the GSD - Page 1

Hi, I was wondering the size of our breed is being corrected or trying to be corrected right. well are they going to be stricked about it this year even more so that last year ??? another question does anyone know how tall bravos is??? and how tall is Zamb??

Corrected....??? Don't make me laugh.... They will correct the size as long it's a dog from a normal member, if it will be another judge owning ore bred the dog...politics will start again.... we already have seen this on the this years Landesgruppen, it's a shame what happens all... I don't know why people still enter at the "Siegershow" while everything is already "sold"... look at the results at the last years "Siegershow" on the first 20 dogs in each class, if you would know the relation between judge, owner, co-owner ore "real" owner... it makes me sick.....

Hello JFU, You mentioned it correctly size is worrying thing in today's GSD. If you had seen this years Sieger show you will feel that the dogs look like bodybuilders huge. I asked the same question to one of the person who is breeder for many years and closely following German show dogs for long time. The answer I got is that this year young dogs i.e.12-18 and 18-24 months dogs will be strictly judged for the size and any big dog will be penalised, and from next year Adult dogs i.e.24 + months dogs will be strictly Judged for size. Let us wait and see.
