Dont see very many in Canada, are they few and far in between?

Decker, yes the true or what i call solid balck sables see my website www.alabamak9.com and click on Blackstar he is a very, very dark black sable and they are hard to produce. I have only one female Daggi bred to Zidane that gives us really dark sables like Blackstar. They are pretty see the Daggi litter all sold black sables except two.

You see a lot of black sables in the working lines (especially DDR and Czech), not so many in show lines. North America seems to have acquired more show line descended dogs than working line descended dogs, so that could explain the relative scarcity in your area.
