Now I fully expect Videx will reply here saying he wont respond to annonymous ar****les but as I am not an ar****le generally I include him in this invitation to Videx, Sue B, X Factor, Sam85, Flipper, Watcher, Whisperer, Shostring, Penny, Steven Cox, Jozolli, Emmaj, Dragon and the rest of the annonymous and not so annonymous UK show scene to chat about WHO the most likely VAs this year will be and WHY? Perhaps - if we manage not to introduce british animals and WUSV sysyems into the thread we can actually have a discussion. Also - are any of you showing this year?

Right, something sensible to discuss. I think that it will be Pakros Zamp Dux Marko Quenn Nando Yoker Ken Bravos I have heard that they are thinking of bringing Quantum back again. He will be Top dog if he is there.The order does not change very much, normally.Also they have to pass the bite work. Pakros would continue the Bax line, Dux will continue the Hill line. Nando has no line breeding, I think. There will also need to be an Esko representative I think. Just my opinion. The conundrum is will Orbit Huhnegrab be there? We shall see eh? I will not be showing this year. She will not be in condition after her litter. Steve Foran

Hi Froggy Zamp was my Sieger last year, just fell head over heals in love with the dog, so hopefully a year on his progeny will be good enough to promote him to the top spot. Of course the politics of the German System dictates others would have to be absent before any new Sieger could emerge. Heard a rumour Laurus and Quando would not be attending but as we all know, there are rumours and then there are RUMOURS! :-) Other dogs that impressed me personally last year were Quenn, Xaro D'Ulmental, Lauser Emkendorfer Park, Karats Yoker and Nando. Going back to the German System of decision making others such as Pakros have much to offer and certainly deserved of VA status (although at times looking a little stuffy on the move for me). Dux Cuatro Flores is I believe producing good types and when it comes to producing I think Bravos Steffen Haus should be given VA recognition. From his V2 position last year I think Ken will probably get promotion into the VA group this year. Having just had a quick count up, the dogs I have mentioned so far total 10, which seems like a very good place to stop. :-)) Whatever the outcome, hope you all enjoy your trip. Regards Sue B

I posted my thoughts on this somewhere else, but I think Pakros and Zamp are the two 'hot dogs' but my head tells me Orbit is the hottest tip - my heart wishes for Zamp. I think Marko Dux and Quenn will be there but a place must surely be made for Bravos to continue the Esko line - finally - a good son. From a selfish point of view I hope larus and Quantum do not reappear, nor Erasmus. As I said before, with Pakros, Zamp, Orbit, Nando,Bravos, and Quenn all standing in one place this year will be VINTAGE! For me - my opinion - die besten ZAMP, Nando, Pakros, Orbit, Bravos, Quenn, Marko and Dux - in my order as dogs without progeny. With progeny it must be Zamp, Nando, Marko, Bravos, Pakros, Dux, Orbit and Quenn. Here is another question - what will be the highest placed Arlett dog? Iceman?

What about Flipp, if he is entered?

Chaka, Good choice and he produced a large sire typical progeny group last year. Froggy, You are so right, the VA group this year could well be an awesome spectacle. Also looking forward to seeing the two young SG1 males Odin and Vegas one year on. With the right choices the first 20 could be VINTAGE. Don't it kinda cover ya with pimples and make ya mouth water just thinking about it! Regards Sue B
