Just curious on what you breeders use to deworm, starting when and how often? Do you switch drugs or use the same? I know there are a lot of opinions on this and curious to see different protocals....

Drontal Plus (check spelling) plus is what is used most commonly across the world. It's one tab per 10 kg body weight. I have been often advised to change the tab to a different one like Fentas Plus but different people have different opinions, as you said. Same is with the vets.
The tab is to be used every 3 months.

One more thing, when your pup is just a month old & till he/she is 3 months old, the tab or deworming liquid is to be used every month. My doc even gave him Plozin & Suprazol for deworming.

I, here in Bosnia, use Pratel. the procedure is the same as with Drontal Plus prasac mentioned.

I worm my adult dogs once every 6 monhs. They are in the woods and fields alot. I use fenbendazole 1ml per 4lbs of body weight, for 3 days. For pups I worm at 6 weeks old again using fenbendazole 1 ml. per 4 lbs of body weight for 3 days.
