Mink Bloodline ?????????? - Page 1

A friend of mine called me and asked me about Mink blood line. I have heard of it but only in the context of Mink and Ferro free. He was told it was an old and gaurded blood line in Germany (Mink). Can anyone tell me anything about this blood Line. Thanks Mike

That would be any dog that has Mink vom Haus Wittfeld in their pedigree, nothing guarded about it, lol.

If your friend is talking about Mink v Haus Wittfeld, it is a very COMMON working bloodline, not that old, and certainly not guarded. MANY good working dogs carry his blood; that is why you see people advertising or searching for Mink and Fero free lines - to get dogs without the linebreeding. Linebreeding on Mink is said to produce really hard dogs.
