Sadly Raena was returned to OC shelter. She really has an A plus personality.

Maybe not working dog- says she is about 5 yrs of age- needs a GSD savvy owner- a strong leader.

Damn, she could be my Hexe's or Rykkah's twin sister--eeriely similar in the face to both, and sounds like she's just as much of a busy-body as either of them; if only I could....

She is a beauty, isnt she!

<sigh> She is that, marjorie...but it's more than just how pretty she is. It's in her face--I know this girl, without ever having met her, as well as I knew my Hexe for 14+ years, the same way I knew who Rykkah is as soon as I saw her face in a candid photo, too.
That's what brings me to tears with this female, literally--because Max has made it clear that given he'd much rather be an only dog, he'll stand for no more than one other dog being here for longer than 24 hours, and that's only because she was here first. It's not Rykkah I'd have to worry about fighting...it's Max. Bitch or not, he grabs the back of the neck and doesn't let go...just jerks on the other dog's neck, and has to be pried off with a bite stick. He's a very sweet dog, and I love him dearly, but by adopting him it completely derailed my plans to foster after Suess passed.

Thats so sad.... I know what you mean when you see something in a dog's eyes that speak to you. I remember that little girl I so loved when I accidentally clicked on her pic and fell in love, but DH just wouldnt have any part of it. He is MY *Max*.... LOL! I think I would be too afraid to own a GSD again, after all I went through with Missie T and Casey James's medical problem. ,so now my job is to watch over them, as if they are my own.

Marjorie, you're killing me.
Do we know how she is with other dogs?
