hi, has anyone gone through phantom pregnancy dogs? how to treat it without medication and if any medication is available in the market, how to buy then??

Different females have different symptoms. Some simply miss their heat, others have more serious reactions. You do not say what symptoms you female is going through. Depending, you may need to do nothing at all.

Presumably, you have consulted a veterinarian to have the false pregnancy diagnosed. If not, you should and if she is experiencing severe symptoms you should not try to treat it on your own. Consult a veterinarian.

Going through one right now.

No real issues. She's "denning" and keeping herself and her area extra clean.

No other obvious behavioral changes, although a few subtle ones that may or may not be related, and no physical changes as of yet. Checked with vet. She'll probably try to nurse toys for awhile when puppies would have been born, and maybe get very protective of them, but based on what's happening so far, vet doesn't think anything special will need to be done other than treating the "nursed" toys like baby puppies and then "weaning" and "giving away," meaning those toys will have to be disposed of away from the house and later (several days or weeks later) replaced with new toys that obviously wouldn't have any "puppy" connotation attached. Vet doesn't want to mess with any hormones or anything else unless absolutely necessary. She thinks since a maiden bitch nothing more will be needed, but I'm to watch closely, especially as "due date" approaches [sigh]

The only differences we can think of that might have helped bring this on is there's at least two houses close-by with litters due soon or maybe already on the ground (not GSD, both good hobby breeders once a year), and there's an intact male Mastiff a few doors down that was outside at the same times she was out for pee-poo during her heat. They were both showing a lot of interest. No chance an accident happened because I was always with her and she was always on a leash as an added precaution (fences are not foolproof). And the male never left his yard.

@emmacarter317 -

Have you seen your vet? Does your dog have a false pregnancy or something else? How's your dog doing?

My dog is now behaving more differently/intensely, so she may need more intervention than my vet first thought/hoped (she warned me this could happen).
