Before the split between show and WL or about the time the WL and SL people declared war?? Or where we should be now or go back to .. the split was a huge political and breed promotion mistake in which both sides lost.

I think these are ASL, when GSL/WL could also compete with them, and you could hardly tell the difference. This year, 1975 Asslam (Aßlam vom Klämmle) Canto Son, went high select. A couple other imports or crosses went select with most winners being Lance of Fran-jo grand progeny, Can't be sure without the names though. :)

That topline wouldn't do well in SV or AKC shows today .
