Does anyone have labs from the Sandylands bloodline who have developed EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse/Jelly Legs/Wobbly Legs etc) or PD (paroxysmal dyskinesia) Epilepsy, Spikes disease and or Chinnok type seizures or unexplained collapsing episodes  - I know of an increasing number of related dogs being affected . Researching link and diagnosis/medication etc

We have eight which are predominantly of Sandylands bloodlines both on sire and dams sides.  Having bred for several years now and good contact maintained with owners, we have never encountered or indeed heard of any such problems whatsoever in the UK.

Perhaps Erica Jayes may be able to assist you : http://www.sandylands.net/

Many thanks for your reply's - sadly no longer breeding from this line, just concerned for offspring (6 out of 15 inc 1 death primarily due to inexperienced vet) now suffering and diagnosed at AHT Cambridge, really looking for good results with medication

In particular there appears to be no medication which works effectively for paroxysmal dyskinesia or research into the growing number of diagnosis of this pitiful and disturbing disease often confused and treated as epilepsy.
