I was wanting to hear from people that have dogs out him and how their temperment and drive is.

We're lucky enough to own a Mohnwiese female, Nikita Von Der Mohnwiese, and she's very nice!  She loves the fight, works hard but is also calm and environmentally very good (also a bit of a thug ).

She's not directly related to Ellute, though.

We're actually on the lookout for Ellute sons to use on our other female.  Lots to choose from!

My husband's current competition dog and one of our breeding dogs is Cid von der Sandkautschneise.  Cid is "V" in conformation, 7 X Sch3 (one was a V), 1 X IOP3 and koerklasse 1 for Life.  He made 3 Sch3's in 2011 and his life breed survey.  His pedigree is:  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=533425
Cid's temperament is truly golden.  He is a pleasure to be around in every way-working, companion & breeding.  Pleasant with people and other dogs.  Just a very good all-around dog!

Yesterday our Goldi vom Vogelsberger Sudhang was confirmed pregnant by him and is due with a nice sized litter on 12/29/2011  Goldi is Sch3 and KKL1 for Life.  The pedigree of Cid and Goldi's upcoming litter is:  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/para.utkoma?fadir=533425&modir=575708

Fozzie,
I know there are many VERY NICE Ellute offspring out there.  We are very fortunate to own one of them!  I hope you find the one that most meets the need of your program.

I have an Ellute grandson, what a little hoodlum!

Being a newbie, I would be very interested in knowing what Ellute is known for producing.

Thanks Fozzie!

Thanks, Nash.  We are really anxious to see what Cid and Goldi produce.  Goldi had two litters by my retired Patrol/Cadaver  K-9 and a Tom son, Onnegardens Griff Sch3, FH2, and the puppies have super drives, solid nerves and nice structure and movement.  Cid is a VERY nice dog and the cross on Goldi should be a GOOD one-- the cross, on paper, looks SUPER to us!  I know a lot of people say you gotta get a few "good ones" if you breed as many females as Ellute did.  My answer to that is you still got to bring excellent qualities and genes to a breeding to get even one good one! JMO

I have and Ellute daughter and she is awesome, she flies through t5he air and has drive to spare. Her hunt and prey are through the roof. She is very flashy in OB and strong and committed in the bitework. I also now have an Ellute grandaughter and an Ellute grandson to play with. Both puppies are doing awesome.
