Our children today are a lost generation. No other generation in history has been plagued by sex, drugs,
alcohol, greed and murder at such a young age.
Who is to blame?

It could be just the opposite. All things being equal, abuse is ancient. It seems worse because of the information age... when actually, it will be awareness first, that prompts real change. Kids are aware, in so many ways that seem foreign to those of us who remember the big deal of a color TV. Truth is, it does not affect them like we think. We are livng in their age. It is very bizarre at times because it is hard to face--- that all that time we spent learning all this stuff, it just doesn't apply. Not like we thought it would!

Nehemiah 7:3
Gods message here is crystal clear;Fathers and Mothers, you are charged to guard your home
from every demonic enemy that tries to enter.
This means you are responsible for every book, every record, every friend your child brings through the door.
You are also responsible for every influence within your home, whether its TV, videos or the internet.

Root cause is sin``but you know that already~~,,,
However, each person will give account for their own actions; if not in this life in the next ,,,..
Anymore, society has a very low expectation of moral character ...
Parents neglecte their responsibility, but parents cant teach what they themselves don't possess,,
So we go back to the root cause which is sin,,,And that should go over super good here,,,
Glad to see your feeling better Gouda,,,
Bee, I agree with you to an extent..There is nothing new under the sun!////This has been going on since the garden!!...

Gouda,
the only thing you have right is that the responsibility for children rest with the parents.
The rest is your usual babbling.

Agree with Ruger's last point; hardly 'new' problems (for drugs
read gin and opium), and whether its actually any worse
for this generation is subjective. Bee's got a good 'take' on
the situation IMO.

I agree Moons. I think it is the breakdown of the family--kids being what they call latchkey kids, and they seem to be more tuned in to machines ie tv video games etc then family times. But then I could analyze and go on and on so just stick with breakdown of the family...........................
