The fiscal cliff,
will we go over, or will our leaders actually come up with a solution in time?

We are already over the cliff, the damage is done, we just haven't hit the ground yet in regards to the "dollar". It's also not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. When Germany demands it's gold from the US Government .. it's over, because there is no gold. Unless the US Government loots "we the people" and that isn't going to be an easy task to accomplish (considering we now know some true history) without first disarming us.
Either way, we need a FULL audit of Fort Knox and the Federal Reserve before we can even consider how great the unintended consequences will be. But for some strange reason TPTB are in complete opposition to such a thought.

What is it with gold?
Besides pretty bling, it's heavy, conducts electricity pretty well, not durable at all in pure form, ya can't eat it.
What am I missing?
Diamonds would be far more useful.
I think the whole thing is scare tactics to manipulate us and the markets.

Why would Germany demand "their" gold with the consequences that you believe are inevitable, namely the implosion of the paper currency?
And you can eat gold, Moons. They sell thin sheets of the stuff used for decorations in baking.
We can make synthetic diamonds. The age old desire to create gold from something else, alas, still eludes alchemists everywhere.

The fiscal cliff?
The powers that be have to pay for election votes.
11 Million illegals are going to get amnesty. No problem this is America, < IT'S ALL FREE >
Time to print more money.
Buy Silver or Gold if you can, they will take off before the end of the year IMO.

We are going into another recession before the end of the year IMO.

I don't know about the end of the year, but it sure is coming. And this time, it won't be a recovery we're looking at, it will be a long time before life is "normal" again, if ever.

Outstanding video clip. Answers a lot of questions about the current economy and where it is going which appears to be downward. Thanks Leeshideaway.
