I am such a sucker!!,,Three orphan kittys about four weeks old need a home.Their mother >a stray
I certainly don't need another cat as I have 10 already>all orphans themselves<, but unfortunately cats around here are a dime a dozen>if that
It has been 3 years since I nursed and cared for a kitten. The last kitten was still attached to the umbilical cord when we found it..He is a handsome and healthy 3 year old today!..
I have an older female that lost her son about two years ago. She is not accepted into the other cat group and she lives basically solitary except for her other son who is not nearly as affectionate as the one she lost..
I thought this kitty could be her companion. The older female is very sweet and is very affectionate. ..She is timid with the other cats and they tend to bully her,,,Any suggestions about this idea would be appreciated...
This kitten will be an outdoor cat after we get him stable and healthy..I can not bring anymore into my home,,The indoor group we have is peaceful and get along well...We are at maximum capacity!..
I have purchased KMR kitten formula and bottles..This is what I have used in the past..Any other ideas are welcomed...
**All my cats were orphan kittens or sick/abandoned juvenile cats. They have all been neutered and spayed and given their vaccinations on my dime... We have 6 indoor cats that have a bright, comfortable, partially refinished basement with cat climbers galore!!..The 4 outdoor cats have their own outdoor houses..>I only mention this as I did not want to give the impression that I was an animal hoarder or unable to provide for their needs<...
I will post a pic when we get him/her...:)

Miracle Cat Story
I was in the fifth grade. It was February and a winter snow storm was raging outside. My younger sister and I discovered a feral, ragged earred, short-haired, black cat had taken refuge in our garage to escape the storm. We were ecstatic because our father did not allow "real" pets, like a cat or dog. We had guinea pigs for a while, until Mom's allergies became a problem. We killed a few gold fish in bowls. That was it.
So, we run and exclaim to our parents, "There is a black cat in the garage! Can we keep it?"
Parents of course, say, "No! You can not keep it. It can stay in the garage while the storm is going on, but do not feed it! We are not keeping the cat!"
So, of course, my sister and I fed the cat. And the cat kept hanging around, but was not allowed in the house... at first. Springtime rolls around, and low and behold, we discover this sorry looking short-haired, ravaged looking black cat was also a pregnant female. By that time, we'd given her a name, Pearl, because she had a small white dot on her otherwise all black coat.
Slowly, she made her way accepted, into the house, it just kind of happened. Now, my mom worked, so no one was home when we got home from school. As Pearl's time to deliver was nearing, we'd prepared a box for her, and would bring it in the house or out in the garage, depending on where she was, so she would be ready to have her kitten's in it.
Now, we begin, my sister and I, to beg my mother incessantly, "Can we keep one of the kittens?"
My mother had no intention of us keeping a kitten, and said, "Well, I've always wanted an all white kitten. If Pearl has an all white kitten, then okay, we can keep it!" Mom obviously knew more about genetics than a fifth grader.
This was all I needed to hear! I had hope! I had faith! I had a mission! I prayed to God, every night, fervently, "Dear God, please, please, please, let Pearl have an all white kitten! Please God, that is all I want, an all white kitten!" I kept my prayers to myself.
And then it happened, I came home from school and couldn't find Pearl. Typically, being kids, we'd forgotten to put the birthing box in the garage with Pearl when we left for school. It took me a while to find her, I had to stand on a sofa and peer into a box, that was stacked on top of a tower of boxes. I heard a tiny "mew." I could barely contain myself, as I stood on tip toes, balancing on the sofa back, and looked into the box full of snorkle gear and deflated mattresses, and could only just see the tiniest little grey tabby ear! I look again, I see another grey kitty, a black kitty, another black kitty, and then I saw it. I looked, but couldn't believe my eyes. I saw a white ear. I can't see very well, with all the junk in the box, so I strain for another viewing inch, and sure enough, there it was, an ALL WHITE KITTEN!
I clamber down and race to the phone, and dial my mother at work. I am breathless, she answers the phone, I can barely gasp, "MOM, MOM, Pearl had her kittens!"
She says, "Oh really!"
I say, "Yes, MOM, and MOM, guess what? You aren't going to believe this! MOM! There is an ALL WHITE KITTEN!"
She says, "NO!"
I say, "YES! An all white kitten!" And then all of a sudden I couldn't believe myself, either, I said, "Hold on, let me double check!" I had to run back, climb up the sofa again, just to make sure. Yep, an all white kitten.
I get back to the phone, and say, "Yes, mom, it is really, really true, and you know what! I can't believe it! I prayed to God, EVERY NIGHT, and asked for an all white kitten... and it came true!"
Well what could my mother do? LOL Defy the miracle God provided, go back on her promise? Impossible! We got to keep the kitten, and what is even more amazing, is as that kitten grew, it grew into a long-haired Himilayan kitten, just like Keith's.
So, you all can decide what you will, but I know a miracle when I see one!

Hope you liked my story Ruger1!
