This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.

One must find a superior breeding male so magnificent in type you want to perpetuate his qualities. He is bred to a fine female and the best female puppy who is similar to her sire in type is bred back to her sire. This is continued as long as the sire lives and can reproduce. ( Note: written in the 1950s)
