So, a few days ago at work we had two orange brindle colored Pit Bull mixes.  Is there such a color in Pit Bulls itself, or would it have been influenced by another breed? When I say Orange, I mean the coat color was a very unique Tennessee Vol orange, and the brindle stripes were like an odd brownish color. I've seen a lot of orange-ish colored Pit Bulls, but never this bright or unique.  The males structure looked 100% like a Pit Bull, the female did too except her ears up at angles. (Proportional though).  I'm guessing they were littermates,  they're fully grown adults now, but I thought it was a really unique color.  Any ideas what they might have been mixed of? If they come back I'll take pictures of them.

I have no clue what this picture is, I was just trying to google an orange color that was similar to the orange on the dog.  This kind of reminds me of the color   http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/graf_montekristo/graf_montekristo0804/graf_montekristo080400016/2855004-bright-dynamical-composition-orange-color.jpg

What color is their nose?  If it's a brown color then my guess the orange w/ brownish brindle is the result of the masking gene affecting the base color.
