How tall should fencing be in an outdoor dog run???
by Slamdunc on 06 November 2010 - 02:11
My kennels are 6' and my fences around my yard are 6'. That is the highest I can have by city code. If I could I'd go higher. I know my dog can jump at least 8' straight up froma sit. My kennels are covered with fencing for that reason.

Moderator comment: They are legal in my area with a zoning variance. Drop it. Lets hear how tall your fences are.
Could you provide an informational link to enlighten all of us.?
As for my fencing. I use 5 ft Black vinyl cyclone fencing with privacy slats ( no top rail) for our trial field. I use a 4 ft cross fence utilizing industrial grade top rail and post with black vinyl cyclone. As for my my kennels, I use Prefeirt 6 ft panels under a 16 ft by 24ft custom fit awning that encloses the top. All completed in accordance with the local building codes

There have been many clues as to who our Mods are. I could list them if you would allow it
Moderator comment: If you feel you must . This should be good.
You're not worth it Sue. I think I've proven my point

Yes, we love the black as oppose to green. It comes in a few gages. We opted for the industrial grade. We spent about 4 grand on privacy slats as well........... No regrets. .jpg)
