I have heard a lot of good stuff about the use of calsorb during whelping. Can anyone tell me how much to use on a German Shepherd?

I give 1-3 mg (1-3 clicks on the syringe dial) after each puppy is born. Do not give any calcium before the first puppy. I think it is great -- I have had far fewer stillborn puppies since I started using it about 8 years ago. (Far less uterine inertia.)

I have used it on my second litter with GREAT results. I will always use it if I breed again.
My GSD female whelped much faster and the puppies were a lot stronger when I used it. She whelped without complication and had 8 healthy puppies in 3.5 hours.
