Welcome to vom ehrenSchutz German Shepherds. We are a small breeder dedicated to producing dogs suitable for devoted working partners and loving family members alike.
We at ehrenSchutz possess a strong admiration for the passion, drive and focus the German Shepherd Dog exudes. It is of the utmost importance to us to preserve the temperament, health and strong working abilities of this breed. We offer a few select litters, bred for intelligence, good health, exceptional temperament and a high desire to please, strong drives, solid nerves and correct structure. With a high aptitude for work, sport and companionship, our puppies are suitable for Schutzhund, AKC obedience, Nose Work, Agility, SAR, Therapy, Herding, Tracking, Personal Protection and active families.
It is our commitment to ensure excellence in the dogs we produce, therefore all of our breeding dogs are Hip and Elbow certified by OFA or the German equivalent, and reflect an extensive generational history of normal hip certifications in their pedigree. We carefully select bloodlines that have produced quality progeny, succeeded on the trial field and most importantly, are proven loyal members of their families.
Maintaining a small breeding program allows us to devote our time to the care, training and welfare of each of our dogs. Our dogs have proven themselves on the competition field and have been raised in our home as full-time house dogs. We encourage continual socialization with other animals, adults and children of all ages, and expose our dogs to a variety of environmental elements.
German Shepherd Dogs have embellished our hearts and home for many years. Our goal is to place our puppies in homes that will feel as enriched as ours, both in sport and outstanding family companionship. We are committed to our puppy owners throughout the lifetime of their dog and encourage our owners to share their experiences with us.
