I don´t know the correct english translation, but this looks like the classic forced apport to me.
No matter if you use a dumbell or a coin.

Not impressed. Nothing i have not seen before very little control over the dog havineg to hold the dog back .Dog should be able to waite untill asksd to take it    and the take it gently from handler not take nearly take his hand off Confused Smile Nasty limp on other dog looks sore .

Ok, looks for me like every other knpv trained Herder/Mali/Dutchi or what ever.It is a simple exercise on the trial prgram in KNPV.but nice try to make something normal special. some people buy it!! You should maybe write that the guy did a good job to train it

i dunno, sounds like some mal hate going on. training or not, the top mals just have an action about them, so quick and directed or something.

the first mals i saw were just nice dogs but never had this freaky energy.....then i saw two liter mates from a top good breeding, the look and movement is something i can't forget and harder to describe. you could look at gsd for 1000 years and still not see it.

me i just like an impressive working dog, breed, schmeed.

Working dogs i love them all I have my  favourite, this one has very little control very snappy and no focus on handler .if you want to show your dog working for me it has to have  control, focus and an out comand if not the dog is just doing what ever he likes .

BlackMalinois

This is a KNPV x malinois actually what the owner wanna show is the strong  drives from this dog

( In KNPV there is a  exercise small article search  coin, bullets, keys)

its not a performance in perfection, this dog could  be a great detection  or tracking  dog

 Wink Smile

by vk4gsd on 11 January 2015 - 23:01

^ agree this was just showing the dog's drive, it was not a trial and the dog was particularly performing to any commands routine....sheesh.

BRILLIANT...until the dog's teeth hit the bullet's primer!!!

by duke1965 on 12 January 2015 - 16:01

blackmalinois, this behaviour is in no way a guarantee that he will be a good detectiondog, many malinois I test have crazy drive on an object they see, but as soon as it is hidden they go by eye sight or look at you for help, I prefer alittle more controlable behaviour, also like said before, his teeth wont last long this way
