Anyone hear or use the kibble Nature's Domain?  Main ingredient is salmon and potato in different forms.

Thanks.

I use Nature's Domain - Turkey and all is good.

I use the salmon formula for both of my GSDs and they love it.  Coats look great too.  I had fed Canidae in the past and like the results

The ingredience in the Natures Domain are good. The are very simpilar (in the salmon) to TOTW. For the price it is a good food. The only issue I would see is that some people do not have a Costco near them...so they would have to travel a long ways to get it.

I know you use to feed Orijen. How do you think that the Natures Domain compares?

by SitasMom on 18 February 2011 - 04:02

To tell the truth - I don't see much difference, if any at all.

All the dogs have shiny coats, clear eyes and PLENTY of energy. None have skin issues, ear problems or loose pops. Their vet blood tests are all withing normal range.

Hero and Quandro won't eat Natures' Domain so I feed Orijen.

Unfortunately they changed the formula.......Regional Red used to be venison and bison and now its mostly pork......and its really stinks up the house. I can smell it as soon as I open the door.

I'm going to have to find something else for the boys.

Sitasmom
I am sending you a PM about a couple foods you could try for Hero and Quandro. That way this topic doesnt go "off topic".

If one feeds the Salmon version, can one add fish or Salmon oil?  Currently, I give two caps of 1000 units each dinner.  Would this be too much with the Salmon version?

Thanks.

I dont think that would be too much. You may want to try only doing 1000mg a day though and see how that works, Just make sure that if you are adding salmon oil to also add vitamin E too.

Nature's domain is only available at Costco in Texas and California--to the best of my knowledge.
