So often we read stories about how long it takes to get the AKC registration done when sending in the Foreign registration paperwork. This one must be a record........... I sent all the paperwork with a check, priority mail with a tracking number so I knew when it was received. Today I received the AKC registration. Here's the record setting part. I mailed it January 27th....... Nineteen days start to finish.....

Sorry Animules, I think we have you beat. I sent in mine to AKC w/check and got the papers back in 6 days... before the check even cleared :) That was a copy of the SV pink papers ( NOT the origionals) Bescheinigung etc... She was in the system and I could add her to my dogs list in 3 days.

Nice to know it can go smoothly and quickly.

How long did the DNA take? It's been a while since I've had one of the other dogs done and I don't remember what to expect.

Yeah, I think the AKC part is the fastest. It's all the mailing to/fro Europe. But once you have the paperwrk in order, it seems to go fast.

Ahh... that I have not yet sent in. I have the kit but she's a PITA when it comes to messing with her mouth. I think I was told 4-6 weeks?

Trust me, I was COMPLETELY surprised that things went that smoothly and quickly.

it took me to DNA about 6-7 weeks, i also got my AKC papers back in 7 days.
