Hi Everyone,
In the past I have had trouble adding a link to my posts and a couple of kind members have added the link for me. Well now it is my turn to retun the favor to those of you having this same problem.

To add a link to a post is actually pretty easy.
  1. First copy the link in your browser with either the "copy" function or Crtl C.
  2. Go to your post and Click the "link" button. This is the button in the second row third from the end in the functions area of post. It looks like a tiny world with circles at the bottom.
  3. Next "paste" or Ctrl V your link into the box under URL.
  4. Finaly click OK and the PDB should insert it into your post.
Now that I have said that. I can't seem to get a YouTube video link to insert. HELP.

 Hi Everyone,

GSD, Thanks for the info. However, I tried doing a website search on the link and it came up as an error.

Many thanks to Ruger1 for walking me thru the steps to post a video.

To post a  YouTube video:
  1. Under the video on the YouTube website there is a button that reads Embed. Click that button.
  2. There should be some code (bunch of letters, symbols and numbers) appear in the box.
  3. Copy it
  4. Go back to your post and paste. When you do this a separate box will appear.
  5. Paste again. The code should appear in this box. Click OK.
  6. Now the code should show in your post.
From here I am not sure why the following steps have to be followed in order for the video to show up in the post but here goes.
  1. With the code showing (Not video) Click the Submit Comment button. Your post should then come up (showing the code).
  2. Now you have to click the owner edit button under your avitar. This will bring your post back up so that you can make changes.
  3. Do not make any changes, just click the submit button.
  4. The edited post should come back up with the video link.
Good Luck,
C

Finally....I figured out how to apply a video from my home computer, to Photobucket, and then to the Database...This is a major accomplishment for me. Now I can post my videos .....Hmmm... That is a very scary thought,,,,,,,I'll have to think about that one.....lol.......: )
