can i feed my show dogs raw meaty bones or complete raw on daily basis as many dogs just do not love to have kibbles everyday as thr meal.....

Gsdfreak 1.IMO.RAW IS WAY SUPERIOR FOOD FOR DOGS.I have been fedding my gsds raw for quite a number of years. No problems wotsoever.Just make sure you give your dogs a wide variety of different meats. Many start by just feeding chicken or turkey and then gradually introducing other variety. My feeding regime is a minced meat meal in the morning and a raw meaty bone meal in the evening.I have listed the foodstuffs mine eat.Minces.....chicken,turkey,lamb,beef,pork(tho.some dont feed pork)rabbit, diced hearts(lamb, pigs,ox)Organ meats, minced tripe, liver(only small amount of liver as can cause loose stools)Raw meaty bones.....chicken wings, carcass, lamb rib bones, pork rib bones.Eggs, probiotic yoghurt, cottage cheese.I usually buy some of my minced meat that have veg included, but if i have cooked too many i will add these to the dish.Veggies should really be pupled for the them to be utilised. You can also feed raw fish.I dont as mine will not eat fish in any form even the tinned variety ,so i buy Fish4dogs fishy treats, which tjey love???mine very rarely have upset tummies. The question i asked myself was....Would i like to eat dried processed food 24/7.......NO I WOULD NOT,SO WHY EXPECT MY FURRY FRIENDS TO.Carole S.

If your dog is happy and looks in good condition with whatever you are feeding continue,
I fed raw for 15 years without a problem until a 2 year old I had developed severe adverse reactions to meat proteins, since November 2007 I have reverted back to complete.

I FEED KIBBLES WITH A RAW CHUNK OF BEEF AND SOMETIMES CHICKEN. SITASMOM IF YOU FEED RAW MEAT ON A REGULAR BASIS ALONG WITH THE KIBBLES YOUR DOGS WON'T GET THE RUNS. THEY HAVE TO GET THEIR SYSTEMS ADJUSTED, JUST LIKE CHANGING THEIR DIET. I FORGOT TO ADD. THIS WAS WHAT TAUNYA AND JOSEF FROM EUROSPORTU SAID WAS A NGOOD FEEDING PRATICE SEVERAL YEARS AGO.I LISTNED ,TRIED IT AND HAVE BEEN FEEDING THAT WAY SINCE.

The reason why breeders may advise you feed kibble (Im speaking for myself here) is that most people WONT bother to feed raw. Its too much effort they think, so once the dog leaves the breeder, it is changed over to kibble. Kibble is very had to digest when comparing it to raw. Why cause undo stress on a puppy that will be placed in a home that refuses to feed raw. Ive had people swear they would feed raw but end up taking the easy way out and getting bagged food. Its better time spent trying to get the new owner to feed a quality bagged food then trying to convince them that "people food" is the true way to go.
