Use safflower oil, much better then sunflower oil. 2 Tblsp is too much, maybe only need 1.

I use   Extra virgin Olive Oil   on dogs food and I  use it to cook with and use it on dry skin..it has many good properties and the Mediterrean people are  nice and sassy because they use it for everything....

Yes it is good to use   One good reason is it is a     polyunsaturated oil and should be bought    cold pressed , virgin and not the blended or cheap brands..

Safflower oil is actually related to the Sunflower...

Use all oils in small quantities and there are not side effects , in extra virgin Olive OIl...I cannot say that about the others as I have never used them...

Being  Olive oil is an oil from saturated you may prefer it.. I still chose Ex v Olive  for me.

You are ok and fine to use it  NO problems and it is great for what you want....skin especially.
