Why are there all these ads lately with photos of dogs in a "tied" sex position???  To me kind of childish and definitely very little class.  It's not like you are proving that the 2 dogs in the photo are actually the 2 dogs in the breeding.   Maybe birth announcements in the family should now come with photos of the actual night (afternoon/day?) of conception.

I know this seems strange to some people in the U.S.A.. While this type of photographic display is not the established norm for the web pages of all European breeders; this proof of mating is not uncommon to see on the web pages for many of them. It is seldom seen on American websites, and I guess that it why it strikes some as being a bit odd. Just a matter of ideology, I presume.

But like Jeff said, it still isn't proof that it is actually the two dogs.  Not very classy at all, and not necessary.  Show me the dogs standing individually.  It is hard to tell much about them in that position.

I agree with Phil , dosen't prove anything and just not needed

Yeah, one of those popped up when I was sitting here with my 14yo daughter. She cracked up(she has grown up around dogs and dog people) and said she didn't see what that would prove. "Yeah, they can do it" was her comment. Made me laugh.
I'd rather see a good pic of the parents. I'm fine with just trusting that you bred who you said you bred. Since I probably wouldn't know the dogs anyway, a pic of the tie could be any two dogs that are close.

And it's not the most appealing of pictures of the two parents either...I mean if you're trying to sell puppies of that litter...
I understand what it's supposed to represent...but to me...thinking like a "buyer" would think...It certainly doesn't really prove a thing...
To me I'd much rather see nice pictures of the parents...either stacked or just nice pictures...
I guess your right...I guess if you're trying to put your baby up for adoption you should show pictures of the act in progress...

Well, if i was buying a bred female or a pup, i wouldnt mind seeing a pick.  i wouldnt be upset if i didn't see one either.  If I'm buying from someone it is because I trust them.  I usually dont buy from someone that i have little trust in, but I guess it is no different than a video of their work.  I mean, I can edit and manipulate things to make them look better than they are, and I'm definitely not gonna film what they suck at, so videos dont really prove much either.

i agree with everyone else on the tied dogs......definately not a class act.  there are some other photo ads that make me ill as well.  usually the dog looks fine, but the person standing behind is disgusting.  shorts look horrible.  pajamas look horrible.  cleavage is the worst of all!  if you are going to be in the pic with your dog, wear clothing that does not detract from the appearance of the dog.
