 Hi there,
I have a 13 month old boy. He sometimes just doesn't like to take his food. I am feeding him royal canin GS-30. I wonder whats wrong. should I change his food. I thought it was the best food out there.

Has he always been this way or is it something that has come up just recently?

Your dog maybe refusing food for a whole list of things, from something minor to something major,as much as I dislike vets, seek advice about this, its worth it,if the dog only eats once in a while its already on a slippy slope to decline, good luck.

If it's just a day, I wouldn't be too concerned, especially if he's acting normal in all other ways.  If he's not altered, it could be something as simple as a bitch in heat somewher in your area.  If it continues for more than a few days or if he starts showing other symptoms, I'd see a vet ASAP.

I agree with GSDtravels. I don't think Royal Canin is a high quality food though, it contains lots of grain and additives. I would suggest you switch food to something organic like Acana or if you can switch to raw.
