Hi ,

I have a GSD Female 3 years old that have had a Cesarean Operation from 6 months .
I would like to mate her again , Did i take any Risk on the female and or the puppies ? Or since 6 months the Internal Injury has been Perfectly Closed or should i wait more 6 months ?

Please Don't tell me ask ur vet ... I hate The Vets answer on such kind of questions .
Regards

Not.

It would be best to wait 6 more months.

No problem at all.   If the female is young enough go ahead. Good luck.

Would you want to breed her back to back even if she hadn't had a ceasarean?

Odd, didn't the vet help you with the cesarean or did you just do it yourself?  What was the reason for the c-section?  Do you think this female should be bred again at all?

I would not breed her until the vet says it is okay.

If you don't want to listen just breed her and you will see.

2 c-sections in a 10 month or so time frame is taking a lot out of this bitch.  IMO

@ Phil : Sure that the VET made the Operation .. But , The Vet will tell me Yes u can do it cause he is earning money from the Operation or so ...
This female can Be bred FOR SURE ... But the point , is to wait 6 more months or do it now ?
