Just thought I would share some of the positive things going on with Prince. This weekend I had my brother in-law over and a small get together with a few friends. . It has been at least 6 weeks since Prince has seen him, and this time he was friendly from the moment he arrived. Prince showed an obvious friendliness I have not seen before with my brother in-law. If that was not enough, we had a couple of friends over for a bonfire ...Prince was on a leash at my side sitting among the guests, and never once offered an inappropriate behavior. A couple of times they spoke to him, and usually this would set him off, but it did not bother him. I did not let anyone pet him, I did not want to push it. Prince layed down next to one of the guests, and went to sleep while we sat around and talked We had a couple other people in and out of the yard that Prince has seen in the past, but he would usually bark. This time he ignored them, showing no signs of inappropriate behavior...I have been working on his obedience everyday for about 2 or 3 weeks. That is the only thing I can contribute the change to.This was so encouraging, I had to share it with everyone..........

Obedience training has a tendency to make certain dogs more confident and more times than not, you will notice a change in their behavior such as what you just described.......Good job and keep up the OB training......I bet you were beaming there was no need for the bonfire for light.....
