Blogging about Therapy Visits - Page 1

My German Shepherd Dog, Angus is a Therapy Dog. I know a good number of people on the General Topic and the GSD boards also have Therapy dogs. About once a month or so, I write about my latest visit with Angus on a site www.petloverspromise.com. This is not my site, but the woman who runs it with her daughter has done artwork for me and i consider her a "friend in progress". brilliant artist and devoted animal lover and rescuer. the stories and videos are not limited to dogs - they include horses, cats, birds... these are real people talking about their animals and the positive changes they make in their and others lives. check it out. if you have a story about an animal you'd like to share, please do so. the stories must be submitted and "okayed". no mean or nasty stuff that we see too often on different threads here. these are the things  our animals provide in our lives that make it a huge difference. i know my visits are bittersweet when angus and i go to the assisted living facility and, tho, because of very HOT weather, we've only been once to a children's center, those visits are just a joy. i know others feel strongly about their visits too. and those who do animal rescue - please talk about your positive experiences - i think it does help educate people and perhaps may inspire them to do something too. thanks for reading this.
