Flights - Page 1

Anybody fly any dogs out of Huston,San Antonio, Dallas ? what air lines to use? going to Indy non stop.?. 

I use continental and american.  One of these (I can't remember which one it was) has a main HUB I think in Houston that may fly direct into Indy.  I only say this because I'm in PA and if I'm shipping to the West Coast they usually connect in Houston.  If there's heat restrictions they have me send the dog on a late afternoon flight so it arrives on the W. Coast late at night when the sun is down.  Its hard to find airlines today that do a lot of direct flying because they try to fill the planes with as many passengers to cut down on their costs.  Good Luck.

I'm with ya Bob. I have a buyer trying to get a direct flight from Dallas, KC or Tulsa to Sacramento with no success. HE wants to fly out and pick up the dog to take back.

Try Pet Airways; I know they go into Tulsa, and they go into smaller airports around the country and are adding more all the time.  I was VERY impressed w/my experience w/them. Otherwise, I'll only ship Continental. Having a pilot father, ex boyfriend, and several friends, I do NOT trust the way dogs are handled on the others.

Continental has a hub in Houston; should be able to go Houston to O'hare, if nothing else.

from Houston to Indi would be Contnental

the summer flying ban will be lifted in a month or so.........and then most everyone will be flying animals again.

i used u shop.com and was able to have my dog transported from Indi to Houston. only 350 bucks and the dog came home happy and non stressed........the ride took 3 days.
