Hi,
My ACD is a year and a half and my GSD is 2 and a half. My ACD is just now showing severe aggression and trying to assert her dominence over my GSD. This has never been a problem before. My GSD has always been the 'alpha' of the duo. They both just finished a heat cycle and my GSD is pregnant. Could that be something to do with this? Could my ACD be sensing this as a 'weakness'? Any ideas to help with this?

You need to seperate them, ASAP.
This is, as you suspect, related to the GSD being pregnant.
However, bitches hold grudges. If they keep at it, one or the other [or both] will develop a grudge.
And bitches... are evil.
They'll fight to the death, once they decide they don't like eachother.

Yes. 2 females heat cycles you better believe it. Probably heat related they can be a little bitchy at this time. Watch them closely and I would not leave them alone together. IMO

Whats funny is it all started AFTER the heat. When they were in heat, my gs was the only one my acd let near her. xD

I was and still am interested, but I'm just doing research right now. I'm definately not ready for a malnois yet, but I look forward to getting one in the future.
