You go into these pet stores and you have to finance half the crap they're selling. You put the $8 tennis ball on lay-away and after 12 months of payments, you bring it home and it is destroyed in 2 seconds. The cheapest and best toy on the market is the plastic pop bottle. They last about as long as any dog toy at petsmart and they're free almost anywhere. (Sorry Michigan! The economy sucks and your stuck with a 10 cent bill on this one). My inspiration for writing this post is watching a puppy right now try to destroy a 2-liter. I tried to replace it with a 20 oz bottle, but he likes the challenge.

Ronnie, when I saw you had responded, I figured you would say something along the lines of the cheapest sex toy also.

Prince LOVES empty 2liter bottles......and the noise the plastic makes is an extra bonus too..........

I put rocks or gravel in mine and they go crazy.  I have also discovered a ball that so far my dogs have been unable to destroy.

I dont fill them with treats, and I have both the large and medium size.  Puppies can pick up the medium size at about 7-8 weeks of age, because they are squishy.  I have 8 of these and not one has been eaten.

Haha. As my pup was doing it, I was thinking it was going to ake up the fam. I guess it's better than a squeeky toy!

Yeah, but are they free, JustK9s? ;)
