A wall, perhaps a bridge.

Unless it's an old pile of walnut or cherry....lol

watch out for snakes..

I was thinking a wall...

funny you said that, I have been looking for snakes all summer....I even looked in that pile! I cant find any nowhere. I found the first box turtle of the year today. Its sad when you live out in the country and see nothing more than some wild birds!

This seems to be the year of the insects here.

Just now opened all the windows since we're gonna have a cool night tonight, it's been an oven and more coming next week.

I'll enjoy the sounds of a summer night tonight.   Snakes just seemed to be on everyones minds lately, I haven't seen one lately and glad of that.

Besides a wall to go over, build one to go under.
With screws and a battery operated screw gun you can build and take apart at will.

My dogs favorite obstacle has always been the log pile, if they are not climbing it and playing king of the hill they are sniffing out anything living in it, mice, lizards, and toads at ground level.

Sadly by winters end the pile is gone and they have to wait for the next one.

I was gonna say a bonfire, but I guess a wall is good too.
